THE WINTER SHOW @BARNEY'S: A WINDOW DISPLAY INSPIRED BY THE CYCLIC MOVEMENT OF LIFE

INFINITE EMERGENCE ABLOOM

We welcome the arrival of spring, with flowers abloom and all that this season of rebirth symbolizes.  After a time of dormancy, the renewed vitality of life is once again coming into view.  We envisioned a window display design that encapsulates our understanding that life on a larger scale is unending.  It is in a perpetual state of rhythmic motion.  It is infinitely becoming.

With ancestral roots to Aboriginal culture and lineage, we were inspired by the indigenous worldview that centers the significance of the circle as a sacred symbol of the interdependence of all forms of life.  This Circle of Life belief represents eternity, protection, potential, totality, and the infinite nature of energy, meaning if something transitions it brings forth new life to another.
